Job Title: Property Consultant
Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire
Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per year.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent.
An opportunity for a motivated, efficient, well organised and reliable person to join our team looking for a long-term career in the property industry. Forces Homes is a property buying agent providing a comprehensive property finding and purchase management service to Military Service Personnel.
The Role & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be given training and must be prepared, from time to time, to travel the country to view properties on behalf of our clients.
The role encompasses liaising with clients, researching properties, providing property reports, liaising with developers and estate agents on the phone and by email. Viewing properties, taking video and digital footage and reporting your observations to the client.
The Schedule:
Monday to Friday – 9am – 6pm, and 10.30am – 1pm every other Saturday.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate would benefit from a wide range of administrative and sales experience, including proficient use of IT and will be able to:
- Work in a small team and be a good team player
- Work in a busy and demanding environment and remain calm under pressure
- Work independently when required and take own initiative once trained
- Manage work load efficiently and effectively and prioritise tasks
- Keep meticulous records and have an eye for detail
- Be proactive in following up clients properties of interest
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Have an aptitude and thirst for knowledge and keen interest in property
A background in a property or building related industry and knowledge of the military would be advantageous, but not essential.
Interviews will be face to face.
