Job Title: Project Manager (Delivery)

Salary: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum

The company, which is wholly owned by Colchester Borough Council, has ambitious plans for a range of commercial investment and development projects which can deliver long and short-term income growth to the residents of the Borough.
We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial Development team at Colchester Amphora Trading Ltd.
The Role:
You would be part of the team to project manage a varied commercial development programme currently worth over £45 million (both commercial and regeneration schemes) within the borough of Colchester. You would also provide economically smart and environmentally sustainable development advice to Colchester Borough Council (the Shareholder) and interact with a variety of external clients including third party contractors, politicians, government agencies and interested local stakeholders.
The role involves being part of a team of effective and proficient project managers, carrying out commercial development appraisals, advising on local market conditions and creating productive and effective relationships with developers and potential funders. You will be highly organised, able to multitask at a fast pace, have a proven track record in major project delivery and be an excellent team player.
About you:
Essential
- Degree level or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience (Minimum 3 years)
- Commercial acumen

- Proven experience of successfully delivering capital projects
- Be able to work co-operatively with others to achieve shared goals and optimise achievements
