Job Title: Project Finance / Change controller

About the Role:
The role is the key link between Finance and the Projects. To provide financial support to the project teams and ensure financial control is maintained across the business. Act as a point of escalation for Project Financial issues and main point of contact for central finance team.
Key tasks:
- Preparation of internal reporting requirements, including Financial Reporting, forecasting, identifying risks/opportunities, development of project specific reporting where required.
- Create and manage change requests to the customer when out of scope works are required.
- Main point of contact back into the customer for finance control
- Main point of contact for project finance
- Ensure central finance team are kept up to date on project finances and any issues escalated appropriately and in a timely manner
- Approving costs through SAP ByD ensuring quality and control standards are met and resolving any queries with the project team.
- Ensure that company financial controls are followed within the project teams.
- Ensuring that all project billing is completed well within month end submission.
- Keep all finance trackers and company databases/tools up to date
Qualifications and experience:
- Previous Experience in managing project finances.
- Knowledge in financial processes
- Previous Experience in reporting from Excel.
