Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £19,554 – £24,313 per annum
Job type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)

The Role:
You will need to work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to plan and deliver IT projects, working towards strict deadlines and within specified budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
You will be asked to prepare all necessary project meeting documents and attend Project meetings, along with the Service Delivery Manager, to identify any projects that are required; minute taking and distribution of project meeting minutes will also form part of the role.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To assist the project manager with the planning, executing, and closing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within specified budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Main duties will also include:
- Maintaining and monitoring of project plans, project schedules, budgets and expenditures, ensuring that all projects are progressing according to plan.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Report progress on projects to the Project Manager as required.
- Coordinate all transition and transformational projects within existing Academies and new Academies.
- Document and obtain updates from Technical Consultants and other Consultants as appropriate.
- Obtain quotes for project related purchases and pass onto the relevant person within the academy for purchasing.
- Ensure all purchases are delivered on time and delivered correctly to the right site for the project.
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate.
The Candidate:
- Is competent in using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS projects.
- Has experience in highly analytical problem solving with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking
- Can work under pressure and think clearly and logically in challenging situations
- Is highly analytical in problem solving, with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking
- Can be flexible in their approach and be comfortable with a fluid organisational structure that requires both team work and self-sufficiency as necessary
