Job Title: Programmer (Schedules)
Location: Oldham
Salary: £50k per annum DOE

The Role:
We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint a Programmer (Schedules). The role will be based at our manufacturing site in Oldham and will be responsible for production and maintenance of all overarching schedules for activities for the major projects and prospective new work within our high-level business sectors.
As a Company we have a strong manufacturing capability and History, with over 160 years Manufacturing from the Oldham Site. The company has existing strong ties within our Sectors, supported by a strong Blue-Chip Client Base, and we look forward to developing our Team further.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely alongside our Project Managers & sales team to produce schedules and maintain on a weekly basis
- Add new projects with milestones for key steps
- Maintain a balance of projects starting and finishing each week
- Update status of each project and show completions of key steps
- Work with production schedulers to ensure critical milestones are met in a fast-paced environment with tight delivery dates
- Maintaining accurate records of production work and results
- Deliver high-quality programs within specified timelines
- Compile reports on factors related to projects schedules to assist in the decision-making process
- You will be expected to work at our other site at in Sheffield on some occasions
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in Microsoft Project or similar type software
- Minimum HND
- Strong technical skills
- Experience of programme validation
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
