Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time – Mon – Fri, 7am – 4.00pm
About the Company:
S&B Herba Foods Ltd is a leading Rice and Pasta business in the UK (part of the Ebro Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.
We are looking to recruit a confident Production Supervisor to work at our Rice/Flour Mill in Liverpool to maximise operational efficiencies.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Monitoring the progress of various production processes
- Organising orders awaiting dispatch (liaise with Supply Chain team), ensuring product is in good order
- Ensuring smooth flow of goods in and out
- Utilising/managing the racking and warehouse space efficiently
- Liaising closely with Production Planner on plant schedules and changes to plans
- Covering for the Production Planner (holidays)
- Participating and contributing in the daily production meetings
- Ensuring safe working procedures are adhered to and the working environment is safe for all staff
- Problem solving
Requirements:
- Production/Manufacturing experience is essential
- Good knowledge of packing line production
- Strict adherence to the Company’s Food Safety, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies
- Experience in the food industry (Desirable)
- FLT / PPT experience/licence
