Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 depending on experience

The role:
We are looking for a qualified Production Planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution and ensure schedule adherence.
An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them. They are organised and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- To schedule each production stage of the manufacturing process and ensure production adherence
- To quote and confirm orders, within capacity, and monitor progress through all production areas ensuring adherence to delivery confirmation dates
- To control the inventory levels from a raw material state through to final finished bearings awaiting shipment.
- Expedite internal and external orders and as required of raw material and components in order to support schedules
- To monitor production performance and capacity against required output levels.
- To monitor and improve OTD
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP
- Competency in MS Office and ERP Systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projects with strict completion deadlines
- Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment
Desirable Criteria:
- CPIM Qualification
- Degree or relevant experience
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience
