Due to continuous growth of our Cardiff cat litter production, we have created a new role of Production Manager to support with the day to day running of the site.
About the role:
On Cardiff Docks we have a cat litter production site and warehouse that is churning out tons of Branded and Private Label product daily.
This role will oversee the production area, and production lines, lead a team of operatives and FLT drivers and ensure we meet standards to supply to our customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production process and day to day operation
- Lead, motivate and train a team of 20 operatives and FLT drivers
- Create production schedules and plans
- Ensure smooth and efficient production of each line
- Ensure compliance with all standards
- Work closely with the Factory Manager, engineering team and HSE
- Maintain safe and hygienic working conditions at all times
- Monitor productivity and look to make improvements when necessary
- Training and coaching the team
About you:
- Experience gained from a FMCG production management role
- Experience of managing and motivating a team of production operatives
- Team player, comfortable being hands on when necessary as well as being able to take the lead
