Job Title: Production and Management Accountant
Location: Salford / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £40,000 (Experience Dependent)
Job Type: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri)

About the role:
To manage the business partnering team in reporting timely and accurate management information for a range of internal departments and produce all relevant financial information for theatre productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage direct reports, ensuring consistency and best practice is developed and maintained. Provide coaching and ensure team deadlines are achieved
- Complete monthly management accounts for Performing Arts, Theatres Technical, Front of House and Ticketing including all associated balance sheet reconciliations
- Engage with various budget holders to support budgeting, complete rolling forecasts; with associated working papers and variance explanation notes
- Assist with the process and coordination of the team to achieve Group deadlines for forecasts/budgets and management accounts
- Populate various management information models for use by business partners / stakeholders
- Assist with audits and liaise with the audit team to resolve queries when required.
- Prepare theatre settlements – collect and collate data from various departments and systems in order to prepare financial statements for each production contract
- Submit settlements to the visiting producers/theatre companies; ensure correct associated paperwork is received, prepared and accounted; investigate and respond to queries; coordinate payment
- Full responsibility for the Settlement e-mail account; liaising with visiting producers.
- Pro-actively review processes and help develop efficiencies for the delivery of settlements
- Complete PRS and FEU returns as required
- Confidently discuss accounting standards with non-finance people
- Work closely with the Finance team in order to ensure consistency and best practice is developed and maintained
- Work co-operatively and positively with all internal departments, providing excellent service support
- Promote and comply with legislation and The Lowry’s policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others
- Identify and undertake training and development as required in order to meet personal and business needs
- Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post so as to ensure the smooth running of The Lowry
