Microtech houses over 75 staff including a full-time fully staffed service desk with field engineer’s based throughout Scotland and the UK.
In 2021 Microtech Group undertook a brand re-alignment, condensing many of their established sectors into two significant divisions, streamlining the brand and simplifying the customer experience. This included the onboarding of a new Commercial Director and Sales Director, along with the launch of a brand-new website.
The Role:
As Product Manager your will be responsible for providing product vision, creating roadmaps and taking our solutions to market. We are looking for someone who understands technology and the application development process. Previous experience in the delivery of health care solutions is desirable. We’re also looking for the candidate to have a deep understanding of web and app technologies and cloud solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Identify users’ needs through research and analysis
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Actively participate in the design review process with the development team
- Define and prepare product specifications, maintain and prioritise the feature backlog, and coordinate releases
- Create user stories and work closely with technical teams throughout the wireframe design
- Work closely with the Development Lead during design and development phases
- Work closely with the CTO / Technical Director during deployment and transition to support phases
- Work closely with the Commercial Director and digital marketing team
- Track product performance indicators such as revenue, product usage analytics
- Project Manage various workstreams across multiple products
Experience:
- Experience within a product management related technology role is essential
- Experience working within in a fast-moving technology company.
- Experience driving product developments to completion
- Experience making hard, data-driven decisions
- Experience working within an agile environment
- Experience managing teams of differing skill sets and backgrounds
- Experience managing multiple projects and product lines simultaneously
