Job Title: Procurement Executive
Location: Yiewsley, West Drayton
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Maternity Cover (9 months – Could be extended)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
About the role:
- Raise purchase orders/sales orders for daily purchasing requests
- Primary focus to decrease costs and improve service
- Keeping up to date on all open orders. Sending a daily back order report to the relevant departments
- Work closely with all internal teams to achieve total customer satisfaction
- Booking in purchase orders upon receipt of POD
- Arranging RMAs
- Provide information and resolution to invoice queries from DQH Finance team and or with Suppliers
- Log and Monitor calls with external sub-contractors
- Ensure calls are completed/resolved within the SLA. Emphasis on, quality and “right first time” ethos
- Constant review of “external engineer ‘ to ensure the date given to Customers for visits is achieved/updated as per pre-determined SLA
- Liaison with Sub-Contractors, DQH Customer Services/other internal teams on progress and resolution of each open request.
- Negotiation with Sub-Contractors to obtain quotes and service client requirements within SLA
- To support the development and implementation of best procurement/business practices
- Assisting other team(s) /team members as necessary
- Provide support to the Operational team with all departmental/DQH project requirements
- Create and provide reports as required for DQH Management
About you:
Skills
- Prior Purchasing and or Supplier experience essential
- Demonstrate previous experience of Procurement and Sub-Contractor liaison preferably in an IT environment
- T. Hardware knowledge (Ideally at component level preferable)
- Analytical/Logistical experience desirable
- Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business
