Humberside Engineering Training Association HETA is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe. HETA provide engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical engineer with some Process experience and a high level of industry experience who feels they have the right skills and attributes pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
This position is based at the HETA training centre in Hull and entails delivering high quality apprenticeship and commercial training for our client companies. The role will predominantly involve the training of Process Operation apprentices at the HETA site and also monitoring their progress in their company
The successful Candidate will have:
- Plant and process operations
- Mechanical maintenance
- High energy safe isolation
- Mechanical joint integrity
- Health & Safety practices and procedures.
A working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant also needs:
- A minimum of Level 3 Engineering qualification
- Good interpersonal and computer skills
- Full Driving licence
Whilst assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable, they are not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.
