It is an exciting time to join the company, as we are currently going through a significant and rapid expansion to our already profitable business. Therefore, we are looking for friendly, competent, and dedicated people to join us during this exciting time.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly practical and organised individual to join us to support our fast-growing company as a Process Development Technician. We are looking for someone with a background in manufacturing with understanding of basic scientific or engineering processes. - Operation of the lab scale downstream processing equipment for the processing of fermentation broth
- Preparation of media/buffers/chemical solutions using the appropriate scientific techniques, procedures, and methods for carrying out fermentation and downstream processing
- Produce reliable, accurate data and records of work undertaken and results (GDP)
- Support scientists and help carry out process tests and investigations into process improvements
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a scientific or engineering qualification at A Level/BTEC or above and have an understanding of food or chemical manufacturing equipment.
In order to be a good fit for the team, you will be friendly, approachable, willing to learn, and possess a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
