Job Title: Press Brake Setter
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £13.00 – £14.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. 4-day week with overtime available.

The role & responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team to produce sheet metal products for a variety of industry sectors
- Setting and Operating CNC Press Break machines
- As a subcontractor there are a large variety of materials and components which requires setting and running to be efficient as possible, in a fast-paced environment
- Working on a variety of machines, including Trumpf and Safan
- In process inspection in line with quality control
Knowledge and skills:
- A highly motivated and proactive time served operator who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role
- You must have experience as a CNC Brake Press setter / operator with programming experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Ability to use measuring equipment, Vernier’s and height gauges etc
Experience:
- Press Brake Operator: 3 years (required)
