Job Title: Practice Management Consultant (Employment and General Practice)
Location: Hybrid approach to working location, with home working alongside attendance at our central London office.
Salary: £41,414 to £43,936 pa (pro-rated for part-time), dependent on skills and experience
Job Type: 12 months fixed term

About BDA:
We are the voice of dentists and dental students in the UK. We bring dentists together, support our members through advice and education, and represent their interests. We are currently seeking a Practice Management Consultant (Practice Support Team) to develop and provide a range of high-quality practice management advice services to BDA members.
About the role:
The Practice Management Consultant will provide advice on a range of high-quality NHS, business and practice management advice services to BDA members. The post can be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate. We anticipate a hybrid approach to working location, with home working alongside attendance at our central London office.
The Team:
The Practice Support team provides advice (mainly by telephone and email) to dentist members on a range of issues including employment and associateship arrangements, human resource management and Practice contracts; providing representation, tribunal and mediation services to members; monitoring, researching and analysing developments in legal and general practice requirements, and ensure regular updating and development of advice for members; the provision of talks, workshops and training for dentists and practice staff regarding legal and general practice requirements; maintaining and developing relationships with other professionals and organisations active in dental practice management and advice; and representing the BDA at meetings with outside bodies and promote the services offered by the BDA as appropriate.
We are looking for a good team player with excellent organisational skills as well as the ability to plan and prioritise workload is essential. The postholder must also be competent with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Core Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for providing advice (mainly by telephone) to members on a range of issues, including employment and associateship agreements and other related areas.
They will also be providing guidance and assistance to team members and other teams across the Association as well as assisting members with draft written communications.
