Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 p.a. plus excellent benefits

The Company is the umbrella organisation comprising two market-leading international PR and marketing agencies, and a UK-focused auto and motorsport partner PR agency. Their teams execute campaigns for some of the most exciting and innovative technology businesses on the planet, who between them operate across a diverse range of industry sectors – including 3D printing, aerospace, automotive and motorsport, energy and renewables, and printing and packaging.
Continued expansion via both existing and new accounts means that they are looking to add an Account Manager to their team. But not just anybody – they enjoy what they do and they are good at it. Are you?
Job duties:
- Take full ownership of account activity and PR campaigns for Clients
- Providing strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns
- Development of strong client and media relationships – existing and new
- Dealing with the media, speaking to journalists and other members of the press, pitching stories to B2B Trade, Mainstream Press
- Providing innovative and creative ideas to clients
- Tracking all jobs and projects, ensure jobs are on time and on budget
- Price negotiations, managing budgets
- Attend regular meetings, track team progress
- Manage junior team members
- Travel in the UK and overseas will be required to attend events
Key Requirements:
- Two or three years’ PR experience
- Educated to high standard in the field of PR, Marketing, Journalism
- Additional language is desirable – French, German, Italian, Spanish
- An exceptional communicator, both presentation, verbal and written skills
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
- Strong copywriting
- Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
- Solid project management skills
- Outstanding organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
