Salary: £36,298 – £41,496 per annum

We need an experienced PR & Communications Account Manager to help us to tell the story of a Borough that is changing and a Borough that has big ambitions for its future.
We are looking for creative candidates who are full of ideas and have a passion for communications.
The Candidate:
We’re looking for experienced communications professionals with excellent writing skills and a flair for content creation.
Experience in place-based marketing is really important for this role as the successful candidate will lead campaigns to raise awareness of our regeneration story.
You will be creating content for the trade and consumer media, social media and for the Council’s website.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering campaigns and communications on behalf of the council and our services
- Working with partner organisations to promote Walsall’s ambitions for its future
- Building and maintaining effective trade and consumer media relations
- Developing and delivering marketing and social media campaigns
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of those campaigns
