Job Title: Polisher/ Finisher / Packer – Day Shift – Full training provided
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Salary: Depending on experience
Job Type: Full or Part Time, Permanent or Fixed Term Contract Options
Working Hours: 8am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm Friday (part time working also considered)
The Company:
Carville manufacture precision machined plastic components for global life science, medical device and industrial companies. Specialising in machining, bonding, fabricating and polishing engineering grade plastic parts.
The Role:
We are looking for someone who is good with their hands and a keen eye for detail to join our team with key tasks in some of the following areas:
- Mop Polishing components
- De-burring parts
- Finishing parts to a high standard
- Careful packing of parts and relevant paperwork
The Candidate:
Some experience with a hands on role in a manufacturing, quality assurance or an assembly environment is preferred, however full training will be given. We will also consider people coming out of education or unemployment looking for their first career step. You need to work well as part of a team, managing your own work-load whilst coordinating with your team and supervisor. There is also scope to progress within the company

- Practical, good with your hands
- Positive, problem solving attitude, willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
Nice to have Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing/production type environment
- Polishing experience
- Working with plastics
- Detailed assembly work
