Job Title: Plastic Welder Fabricator
Location: Marden, Kent
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 (dependent on experience)
Job type: Full-time / permanent. 40 hours per week.

Although still focused on the veterinary sector, Burtons have diversified into allied areas such as vehicle conversions for canine transportation & animal ambulances to grooming equipment and aquatic systems.
About the role:
Burtons Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (part of the Burtons Group of Companies) has a new vacancy for a Plastic Welder Fabricator to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be assisting within the busy plastic manufacturing and fabrication workshop reporting to the Plastic Fabrication Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
- Work from engineering drawings, sketches or specifications.
- Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
- Produce products constructed from box sections and sheets of varying thickness from 3mm to 9mm and finished to a high standard.
- Inspect structures or materials to be worked.
- Maintain equipment and machinery.
Skills Required:
- Must have experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering.
- Good attention to detail.
- Self-motivation.
- Good communication.
- Good timekeeping.
