Trading since 2005, the company are a highly experienced Drupal development agency in Derby and they are home to talented developers who work to create brilliant Drupal sites and to provide excellent levels of ongoing support for existing sites.
Based in central Derby in a friendly, modern office in a converted old mill, they build and support website and systems in Drupal for a wide range of clients including Mencap, the Ramblers, Vent-Axia, Anglian Water and National Trails. Regarded as experts in our field, they now have a unique opportunity for PHP developers / Drupal developers to join the team.
Job Role:
They are looking to hire developers with HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL experience as well as developers with Drupal experience. They are known throughout the UK and beyond for building and supporting top quality Drupal sites whilst also helping organisations get the most out of the web.
The Candidate:
They are interested to hear from people of all levels of experience.
You will definitely have experience of developing sites using PHP and MySQL and will ideally also be familiar with the Drupal CMS, although training/mentoring can be provided on the latter if required.
You will be working on great projects for a mix of major brands, charities and SMEs.
You’ll be someone who is passionate about new ideas and a quick problem solver.
The successful candidate will be capable of working on their own when appropriate, displaying a positive, can-do attitude and an aptitude for problem solving.
You’ll enjoy working in a busy agency atmosphere and the challenge of working on multiple tasks and projects in parallel.
Required Skills:
You should have previous experience in web development and have a CV that demonstrates:
- Experience with Object Oriented PHP / MySQL for developing websites
- Excellent knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Familiarity of working with source control and deployment workflows
- Great social and communication skills
- Logical thinking and problem solving abilities and the ability to multi-task
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of building websites in Drupal or other open source Content Management Systems would be highly desirable
- A working knowledge of web server management in a Linux environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of utilising web technologies/platforms (eg Sass, Symfony, React, JavaScript, jQuery etc) is also highly beneficial
