The role:
As a PHP Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of PHP-based applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient, scalable, and high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PHP applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the team to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and stability.
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and tools.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications in various environments.
The person:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or others.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of server configurations and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
