About the role:
An exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst to join the Operations team at Guardian has arisen following recent and continuing growth of the business throughout 2022 & 2023.
As Performance Analyst, you will assist the Operations team to shape and support MI requirements that help with our ambitious growth plans. The focus of the role will be to design and deliver an appropriate suite of reporting to all stakeholders and generate insight that supports decision-making and enable action across the business. Our aim is to provide reporting through PowerBI and other forms, so business leaders can easily access the required MI to carry out their functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Within this role your day-to-day would include but not be limited to:
- Leading production and automation of MI reporting and processes using Power BI, Yellowfin & Salesforce
- Building and maintain strong working relationships whilst supporting key stakeholders.
- Identifying new sources of data to continually add to stakeholder metrics.
- Providing detailed trend analysis and recommendations.
- Leading improvements in the accuracy, reliability and clarity of MI across the business
About you:
We’re looking for someone with high levels of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly within tight deadlines with demanding stakeholders.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience in data analysis and MI report building using MS Excel & Salesforce
- Experience and strong knowledge of PowerBI report building and data visualisation.
- Experience and strong knowledge of Yellowfin report building & data visualisation.
- Understanding of dataflows and relational databases
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly within tight deadlines with demanding stakeholders. – Demonstrating effective time management and prioritisation skills
- High level of attention to detail ensuring all data is correct whilst conducting or reviewing analysis/ reports.
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of Life insurance product
- Experience of using SQL to query data
- Presentation skills using PowerPoint
