Job Title: Pensions / SIPP and SSAS Administrator

Punter Southall SIPP are your resource for SIPP and SSAS.
We operate a full and simple Self Invested Pension Plan (SIPP) via a master trust, and we also offer professional trustee services for Small Self Administered Schemes (SSAS).
Role Overview:
To provide administration support for the SIPP and SSAS team, in a professional and team orientated manner. Punter Southall SIPP staff must adhere to the FCA’s Fair Treatment of Customers consumer outcomes and Conduct Risk requirements.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Daily completion of SIPP annual review packs
- Monthly download of SIPP investment manager valuations and conversion of files in to SIPP~Pro
- Monthly completion of SIPP and SSAS GAD reviews
- Monthly download of management information and conversion to column and line charts
- Quarter end updates of values of non-standard assets held within the SIPPs
- Monthly download of client names requiring Open Market Option initial and reminder letters
- Creating mail merges from data within SIPP~Pro for pre-prepared mailers and issuing letters generated
- Input of monthly declared gilt yield in to SIPP~Pro and SSAS~Pro
- Utilising relationships with inter-company and external professional connections, including accountants and financial advisers
- Daily creation of payments using the Bank of Scotland’s iSite and Corporate Online systems
- Liaising with regulators bodies where required, such as HMRC and The Pensions Regulator
- Dealing with day to day administration queries either via post, the telephone, or email, directly with clients or via professional connections
- Ensure that volume, SIPP~Pro and SSAS~Pro records are up to date with member details and all relevant policy information
- Follow workflow processes via Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of business
- Successfully complete compulsory Anti-Money Laundering and Information Security training, plus any other mandatory compliance or regulatory training as required by the business, PSG and the regulators
- Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities

- Ensure all client led documentation is dispatched accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ability to follow all procedures and working practices including, but not exclusively, Data Protection and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

- Ability to organise and prioritise your own workloads, ensuring activities are undertaken in accurate and timely manner.
- Assist and support the wider team to manage peaks and troughs of work loads.
- Adherence to the PSFM SIPP Limited/PSG Data Protection and Information Security policies at all times.
Training, education & qualifications
- Strong Mathematical and English skills, evidence by a minimum C grade at GCSE/3 Standard Grade.
- Ideally educated to a minimum of A Level/Higher Standard, or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge & Experience
Between 2 and 5 years of administration experience within the SIPP and SSAS industry would be preferable.
Experience of having worked within an independent trustee or investment management environment.
Skills should include:
- Excel – create spreadsheets, use of basic formulae.
- Word – create and format documents to a high standard.
- Outlook – utilisation of emails
Familiarisation of the following systems an advantage:
- Delta’s SIPP~Pro, SSAS~Pro and DMM.
- Bank of Scotland’s iSite and Corporate Online banking systems.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM
