The role:
A self-supportive conveyancing fee earner.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Attending upon clients
Dealing with all types of conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to registration to include:
- Registered & unregistered
- Freehold, leasehold, new build & shared ownership
- Re-mortgages, transfers of equity & help to buy
- Land Registry applications
- Opening and creating new files.
- carrying out all work incidental to the progression of conveyancing matters using the Firm’s case management system, including but not limited to:
- Issuing first letters.
- Applying for searches and Chancel Checks.
- Using Land Registry Direct.
- Preparing contracts
- Actively progressing the client’s matter to conclusion
- Closing files
- Complying with the Firm’s various policies and procedures contained in the office manual
- Attracting new clients where possible
- Any other duties that are reasonably asked by the partners.

- Articulate and a good communicator
- Good with English (verbally and written)
- Proficient in using a computer (especially Word, Excel and MS Office)
