The Role
Responsible for assisting the Legal Executive with all legal matters in relation to client disputes and company disputes. This includes assisting with administering the legal process and working on client legal files and matters. It also includes responding to client concerns.
Please note this will be an office-based role, full-time in the office in Preston Docks.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal Executive with all legal matters
- Assist the in-house legal team with the administration of company legal policies
- Respond to and deal client concerns
- Work with Heads of Brands and staff to advise and deal with any legal matters
- Work with internal and external partners to develop and enforce Group policies
- Work with internal and external partners on legal cases
- Compile and prepare Court documents, in line with Court processes
- Handling and dealing with relevant correspondence in relation to client concerns and legal matters
- Administrative duties such as filing case files, dealing with caseloads, telephone calls, answering correspondence etc
- Deal with any complaints from clients as a result of legal matters
- Deal with any matters arising from Companies House Updates
- Actively drive career progression and self-growth
- Ad hoc Projects as determined by the Board
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have knowledge of legal documents and court procedures ideally with a minimum of Para Legal training
- The ability to communicate with all key stakeholders, employees and clients both internally and externally to the organisation.
- The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels of the Organisation.
- Proven track record of customer service, process and telephone skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Proven track record of organising and planning skills.
- Ability to work proactively and on your own initiative.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to work proactively.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Prepared to work on an individual basis but also contribute to the success of the overall team.
- Must be flexible with a can-do attitude
- Required to travel as part of the role, with occasional overnight accommodation
- Clean driving licence.
