Operations Co-ordinator

Location: Stevenage, SG1 4QX.

Salary: Competitive.

Job type: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Full-time, Permanent.

Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, we operate within an approximate 50-mile radius, covering areas of the South East, Midlands, Anglia and London. We are focused on building long term relationships with our clients by adding real value to their own service offering and by providing excellent customer service.

The Role:

This role involves co-ordination to support the general business operations of the Company. This is a hands-on role, requiring excellent relations with all teams within the business to ensure adequate support is in place for the main service delivery of the Company. Responsibilities include co-ordination of the office building maintenance, the van fleet, stock materials and company owned equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and perform maintenance of the office building
  • Co-ordinate vehicles used by the company
  • Co-ordinate the yard area and store rooms, along with our storeman, ensuring
  • Waste management of yard/office
  • Stock Materials Management
  • Issuing and maintaining PPE
  • Co-ordination of owned Plant & Equipment
  • Site Deliveries/Collections
  • Undertake any training deemed necessary to fulfil the role or for operational needs of the company

Desirable

  • COSHH awareness trained
  • Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) qualified
  • Fire Marshall trained
