Job Title: Operational Engineering Support Administrator
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: Circa £23,000 per annum
Position: Full Time, Permanent
The company is established as one of the world’s most productive and technically advanced ports.
They are currently looking to reinforce their Operational Engineering Department by recruiting an Engineering Support Administrator. This is a key role, supporting the Operational Engineering managers and team leaders with the management of all fixed and mobile plant across the Port estate.
The main duties will include administering and updating the Pirana Engineering Asset Management system to ensure servicing schedules and maintenance work orders correspond to approved maintenance schedules, producing KPI reports and monitoring and administering third party inspections. The individual will also organise and monitor third party compliance inspections of the Port’s equipment and assist equipment engineering authorities in resolving any identified hazards.
Ideally, you will hold at least an Engineering HNC qualification; or have good experience in plant management. Experience in equipment safety maintenance or reliability centred maintenance would be an advantage. In addition, you must be IT literate and able to demonstrate a methodical and flexible approach to work. Strong communication skills are also essential as you will be required to liaise with other departments and senior managers within the Company.
A full driving licence and your own transport are essential.
