Job type: Freelance, Variable Hours

This is a fantastic opportunity for postgraduates, postdocs, academics and teachers alike to join a dynamic, innovative start-up.

A genuine opportunity to generate an income in your spare time working where and when you choose. You might be studying, retired, or on a career break, whatever your situation this could be the right opportunity for you.

There are over 400 million millennials in India, yet only 50% of children regularly attend school. The company therefore recognises the huge demand that there is for quality education in India – particularly from disadvantaged communities.

The similarity between the UK education system and exam boards and those in India will mean the syllabus and student experience are immediately familiar to you. They offer 1-2-1 interactive online tutorials for students in India delivered by British educators through a website and app designed to ensure the greatest chance of success in Class 10 (‘GCSE’) Board Exams and Class 12 (‘A Level’) Board Exams. They also initially offer Spoken English Tutorials and Tutorials for Parents.

The Role

Tutors can work flexibly from their own home via the website, logging on to the web-streamed tutorials through their own tutor portal. Tutors will receive support and tools to assist them to conduct each 45 minute tutorial.

Using your knowledge in your specialist field you will be able to support and enhance each student’s journey.

This is a freelance opportunity and, as such, all tutors will be considered self-employed. You will have the freedom to determine how much time you can dedicate to being a tutor, how much you earn and which subjects you decide to support (subject to academic achievement).
