Job Title: Office Manager
Location: London
Salary: £35K Per Annum (Negotiable)
Job type: Full Time – Permanent
FMC Logistics (UK) Ltd supplies bespoke logistics services worldwide. Our core activities are intermodal and logistics services including Air and Sea freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising an experienced office team
- Meeting financial and service targets
- Escalation point for customers and suppliers
- Manage complaints and Incident Reports from start to finish
- Staff management: Recruitment, employee reviews and disciplinary action (if required)
- Ensure day to day and administration tasks are completed
- Attend management meetings
- Keep performance records
- Where required ensure customers are informed of their collection and delivery dates
- Email inbox management
The Candidate:
- Previous Management experience
- Must be driven to always achieve operational excellence and meet customer requirements
- Experience working in a commercially challenging, results driven logistics environment
- Highly adaptable and able to work under pressurised situations
- Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Great team player
- Can prioritise tasks
- Must embrace change
- Must be proactive rather than reactive and show initiative
- Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills – with the ability to adapt their style and language (verbal and written) to suit the customer, department, or level that they are dealing with
