Job Description: Office Assistant (Administration & Logistics)
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Starting Salary £18,500 – £22,000 per annum – DOE.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm.
You will be working from our Tring office, to assist with the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the small office and warehouse. We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and very versatile individual to play a vital role in our continued growth as one of the UK’s leading IT Cabling suppliers within a small friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day to day office duties including answering the phone, door, assisting with logistics and ensuring the smooth flow of important daily tasks.
- Update pricing, part codes and daily stock control adjustments in-line with our office processes and e-commerce systems.
- To assist in receiving both inbound and preparing outbound deliveries, including stock allocation, packing of orders and daily courier collections. NB) This role will require the safe lifting and carrying of boxes up to 15kg daily, so you’ll need to be physically fit.
- Printing of delivery notes, consignment labels and manifests for daily DPD collections.
- Regular stock control duties including quality checks, re-packaging of products and stock level verification.
- General office duties including, filing, scanning and shredding.
The Candidate:
- You’ll need to be trustworthy and reliable
- The candidate should have a basic Microsoft Office skill set
- A good level of Maths and English qualification is required
- The suitable candidate will be a good communicator and articulate, with the ability to prioritise tasks as no one day is the same!
Extra Info:
- You will receive 23 days of paid annual leave (plus bank holidays) and will be based permanently from our office in Tring.
- You will also be entitled to the Company Pension Scheme.
- Full training will be provided from your supportive work colleagues.
