Job Title: Office Administrator

Location: Poulton-le-Fylde

Salary: The salary will start at £15,600 paid monthly (Higher remuneration is possible depending on experience and ability) + 23 days holiday plus statutory holidays

Job Type: Permanent, Part time – 25 Hours per week

An Office Administrator is sought to tame a wall of administration facing a growing small company. The role is expected to be part-time five hours per day, based in our dedicated offices in Poulton-le-Fylde town centre.

There is opportunity to work occasional days from home is possible once trained. As the admin team grows, there will be opportunity for more hours and advancement through the company.

School Property Matters operates nationally in a niche market with offices in Lancashire and Hertfordshire. Founded in 2002, the company has worked with over two thousand five hundred schools and is highly respected in its market for the honest and valued data and reports supplied.

SPM provides pupil capacity analysis services, CAD plans and condition surveys to schools. Helping to inform facilities management, admissions processes, and assist in negotiations for capital funds when schools are varying their size. All customers are schools and organisations managing schools.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role is to provide administrative support within the company and start to form the basis of a central office team.

The day-to-day roll will include:

  • PA to the Managing Director
  • Co-ordination of the management team, data, documents, and meetings
  • Bookkeeping, Invoicing, Credit Control
  • Travel administration Checking and optimising expenses
  • Project administration
  • Preparation of customer documents and sales order processing
  • Product and competitor research
  • General office management Qualifications and Skills
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication ability, with exceptional organisational and co-ordination skills.
