Job Title: Norfolk Assistance Scheme Advisors

Salary: £24,982 to £27,041 per annum
Job type: 37 hours per week, Six-month fixed term contracts, Full Time.
We’re looking for people with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to join the Norfolk Assistance Scheme as NAS Advisors, on six-month fixed term contracts.
Part of Norfolk County Council, the Norfolk Assistance Scheme provides support for people across the county, and this is a great opportunity to be part of a team that works with vulnerable people in our society has a positive impact on our communities.
The role itself will involve speaking with people on the phone, collating information and processing applications. It’s a fast-paced environment, with stringent timelines and deadlines, so we’re looking for people who thrive working under pressure, who can assess information from multiple sources and make decisions, and who are motivated to make a difference.
We’re really open to considering people from a range of different backgrounds, but we think anyone with a support background would be a good fit, and experience of benefit and/or working with vulnerable people would be highly beneficial. You’ll need solid communication and administration skills, confidence in dealing with members of the public, and ideally strong computer skills.
These are urgent requirements and we’re only able to consider people who are available to start work straight away. Successful applicants may be required work from County Hall where parking restrictions are in place.
