Job Title: National Sales Manager

Salary: £53,000 – £60,000 + company car + bonus

The Role:
SYNLAB is Europe’s undisputed market leader in clinical diagnostics and constantly looks at ground-breaking ways of testing and maximising health technologies.
Forming part of the SYNLAB Group, Lextox are a UKAS accredited laboratory based in Cardiff. Lextox provide drug, alcohol and DNA testing services for family law cases and childcare proceedings.
Due to growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a National Sales Manager to join our team in Cardiff on a full-time and permanent basis. You will lead, develop and manage the Client Sales team, whilst focussing on growing the sales revenue of the Drug and Alcohol testing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Client Managers in maintaining relationships with Key Accounts and to generate increased business opportunities
- Contribute to the development of Sales and marketing plan to deliver against our company objectives
- Manage the day-to-day activities and sales performance of the Client Manager team
- Train and mentor Client Management team to develop sales skills and exceed target
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in sales and sales team management including Inside sales operations
- Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
- Expert knowledge of pipeline management and salesmanship
- Experience of managing a team remotely
- Proven leadership abilities with skills to motivate and lead a team
