Job Title: Multi Skilled Trade Operative

Salary: £33,000-£39,000 (plus o/t) DOE

Check-Mait Limited are seeking good all-round Multi-Skilled Trade Operatives or superstar handymen/women to fulfil varied field-based REACTIVE MAINTENANCE engagements. You will be working in private tenanted residential properties and apartment blocks.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience working in property maintenance, ideally coming from a Reactive Maintenance background.
A fully expensed liveried Company vehicle is provided.
Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates must:
- Possess a wide variety of trade skills including basic plumbing and electrics.
- Have their own tools
- Use their own smart phone for daily schedule, submitting job reports/photos & general communication (mobile allowance paid)
- Have a clean driving licence
- Read, write and speak English to a good standard
- Be available to work weekends on rota (overtime)
Check-Mait Limited established from Horsham in 2020 work with some of the UK’s leading Property and Block Management companies. This is a field-based role where you start and finish each day’s assignments from home working in various properties in London and the Home Counties.
Multi-Skilled Trade Operatives Skills Required
- Plumbing (e.g. repair taps, toilets, overflows, radiators)
- Electrics (basic or part qualified) (e.g. change sockets)
- Finding leaks & making good
- Painting & decorating
- Basic Drainage (unblocking toilets, sinks, drains)
- Basic Carpentry (boarding windows)
- Adjusting doors & closers
- Replacing locks
We also welcome applications from fully qualified trades persons wishing to work freelance as subcontractors, especially Gas Safe engineers, and Part P Electricians, tilers, drainage engineers, etc
