Job Title: Multi Skilled Service Engineer
Location: Nottingham (right near the train station)
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 dependant on experience

The Company, part of a larger Belgian multinational, is a market leading manufacturer of laser cutting machines, and they’re currently looking for an experienced engineer to help install and service their machinery globally.
It’s an interesting and varied role and you’ll have the opportunity to travel all over the world on a regular basis so it would be most suited to someone who likes to travel.
Day to day duties:
While in the UK at the head office you’ll be
- Helping with testing and building of the machines being prepared in the factory
- Building and testing Electrical Panels
- Helping design new mechanical and electrical systems for the existing and new product ranges
- There may be possible visits to the Head office in Belgium for training and testing of machines
- Fault finding and running diagnostics on machines
The machines are sold world-wide, generally distributors will handle the installation, but if they are new:
- You’ll be required to help train the distributor in both installation, servicing and troubleshooting
- Install the machine and train the customer how to use the machine, including basic service routines.
You’ll also be expected to provide feedback to the engineering team to help push the products forward.
Key Requirements:
They’re looking for someone who is proficient in both Electrical and Mechanical servicing and has the ability to problem solve both mechanical and electrical issues.
