Job Title: Mobile Estates Officer

Location: Watford

Salary: £21,260 – £25,000 per year

Job type: Permanent – Full Time.

The Vacancy:

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking person to join our Estates Services team and look after our estates. We provide a comprehensive service to keep areas clean, clear, and safe for our residents.

As part of our Estates Services team, you will use your skills to help us deliver high-quality housing services across our estates & flat blocks.

The right candidate will need the ability to carry out physical tasks including litter picking, keeping bin areas clear, reporting repairs, signposting customers, giving access to contractors and fire alarm checks, amongst other ad-hoc duties.

You’ll work effectively and proactively with colleagues to ensure that our Estates are clean, safe environments for people to live in.

The Role:

In this role you will need to:

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Take personal responsibility for your areas.
  • Be able to listen to and respond to our customers.
  • Work individually & as a team member when required.

You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You will have a background in caretaking or estates work and knowledge of the housing sectors would be a distinct advantage.

What are we looking for?

Essential:

  • Experience working in Estates.
  • Entry level or level 1 qualifications relevant to the post (GCSE’s or level 1 NVQ).
  • You will need to hold a UK driving licence. (A company van will be supplied).
  • You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the housing sector.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
