Job Title: Mentoring and Outreach Officer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £23,715 – £24,285 per annum – SS2.

Job type: Permanent – Full Time.

The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mentor to join our busy Marketing team as a Mentoring and Outreach Officer.

It’s an exciting time to be joining University College Birmingham, with a brand new accreditation agreement in place with the University of Warwick from January 2022. In addition, the University has recently won University of the Year in the 2022 Whatuni Student Choice Awards, the leading higher education awards based solely on student choice. We have recently welcomed our first cohort of further education students in construction and engineering this September, with more exciting curriculum plans for the future.

The successful candidate will coordinate mentoring support and outreach events to identified Aimhigher West Midlands partner schools and colleges. In addition, they will maintain and develop our internal student ambassador scheme. If you’re passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people, this role could be for you.
