We are currently recruiting for a positive and enthusiastic Media Researcher to join our Figure Production CMI Team on a 12 month maternity cover basis, located at our Acton Studios in London.
About the role…
- Deliver accurate picture research and supporting reference for Wax Figure production ensuring deliverables are fully approved, licensed and to the correct quality in time for each Figure’s production deadlines.
- Have project ownership of allocated Wax Figures, overseeing all aspects of the project from concept to delivery.
- Work with Attraction and Global Marketing team’s as well as 3rd parties, including IP holders, to secure Figure Approvals.
- Co-ordinate local and international Talent Sittings.
- Keep all department trackers, document logs and project admin up to date accurately.
- Deliver projects to budget & timescales.
- Liaise with Attractions teams globally, communicating information on progress for Wax Figure production & media content.
- Work effectively to build strong relationships with key customers (internal & external) and suppliers at all levels.
- Approach role with drive, motivation, individual resourcefulness and show resilience under pressure.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- You will have a good knowledge of picture research and the way image banks work.
- Experienced in licensing media for a variety of uses.
- Experienced in financial forecasting and managing a budget.
- A good understanding of the media industry.
- Good eye for detail.
- Good knowledge of copyright and intellectual property.
- Regular use of creative software packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be required as well as Microsoft Office and Word competency.
- Knowledge of Production environments including video production would be desirable as would experience with Data Management systems.
- Excellent communication skills are essential and proficiency in Mandarin would be an added bonus!
