Job Title: MDS Senior Quality Officer

We are currently looking for a MDS Senior Quality Officer to join our Quality team, on a Permanent contract.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail with the ability to proactively ensure that business needs are met. They will have a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
The scope of this role is to work as part of the Migrant Help Quality Team to ensure compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements for the Modern Day Slavery (MDS) teams. This includes evidencing organisational compliance within the Contractual Compliance Schedules, ensuring adherence to the internal and external inspection regimes and liaising with the contracting authorities. The postholder will be expected to work closely with operational and support services teams to ensure the quality of service provided to our clients, as well as conformance to contract key performance indicators. The postholder is expected to contribute to the overall success of the Organisation in accordance with Migrant Help’s aims, objectives, vision and values.
As the MDS Senior Quality Officer your duties would include:
- Ensure the successful outcome of external audits, including the gathering of evidence, coordination of audits and liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring the continuous effectiveness of the operational Quality Frameworks and procedures
- Create thorough reports on any findings, including good practice and any shortcomings
- Highlight and develop mechanisms for sharing learnings and best practise across services.
- Create and submit reports and evidence as requested by the contracting authority
- Review reports received by the contracting authority and liaise with the relevant teams to ensure contractual compliance, monitor changes and updates and coordinate responses to feedback raised.
- Be the point of contact for the contracting authorities regarding any compliance and quality assurance requests and requirements.
- Ensure the effectiveness of our procedures, in line with CQC and ISO requirements
- Lead on calibration sessions with the operational teams to ensure the correct application of the Quality Frameworks.
- Lead on the monthly MSVC/Quality meetings, including creating the agenda, gathering topics and preparing reports.
- Line manage the MDS Quality Officer and MSVC Quality Administrator, supporting them in their roles and development.
The experience and skills you need:
- Demonstrable experience of quality assurance processes and quality management frameworks
- Experience of audits, as an auditee, coordinator of audits and as auditor.
- Auditing and audit report writing skills
- Demonstrable administrative and organisational skills
- Highly dedicated with genuine interest in Migrant Help and our clients
- Kind and supportive, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and positively influence those they work with
