Job Title: Marquee Erector/Foreman
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £31,200 to £42,000 depending on experience and role.
Job Type: Full Time permanent
We are seeking to fill full time positions as Marquee Erectors/Foremen. We are looking for hardworking motivated members of staff to join our forever growing team.
We are a bespoke Marquee company with high end clients in various locations open to applications from new and experienced erectors, full training will be provided. This role has great potential for progression.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a marquee erector
- Erect and dismantle structures as part of a team – Manual handling.
- Loading and offloading of vehicles
- Picking and prepping equipment at our warehouse base.
- Ensuring all jobs are finished to the highest standard possible
- To be well presented and to deliver a professional service to our clients
- Keeping to deadlines
- The health and safety of staff, subcontractors and all others onsite
Essential Qualities of a marquee erector
- Reliable
- Good timekeeping
- Hard working with a can-do attitude
- A full UK driving licence
- Works well in a team and remains calm and collected in stressful situations
Desirable Qualities of a marquee erector
- Would suit candidates with previous experience in labouring, scaffolding, construction.
- Counterbalance forklift trained
- Telehandler forklift trained
- First Aid trained
- Practical skills – Use of power tools/Carpentry experience
- MUTA structure safe trained
For the right candidate with the right attitude, we are willing to arrange the above training after passing a probation period.
Working hours are 50 hours a week based on working 5 days out of 7 this could include weekends and bank holidays. Our ‘normal’ working hours are 7 to 6pm with breaks totally 1 hour, but this will vary and could be starting from 6am so the ability to get to our warehouse address for these times is essential.
During our busy periods we may require you to work longer hours or more days to accommodate the business.
