About the role:
As the Marketing Principal with a strategic and creative “out of the box” approach, you will be responsible for all marketing communications and the execution of the marketing plan. Where necessary, you will be involved in creating promotional videos, advertising campaigns, training videos, live stream recording of the mental & physical wellbeing projects whilst liaising with a team that you will continue to grow and manage.
You will lead by example and be responsible for all video footage and photography including backup files to ensure that all shoots are available for use and that campaigns and content is uploaded to the relevant platforms media, social etc., as per planned timescales. A hands on approach is essential.
Key duties include actively fulfilling the below and subsequently managing a team as the business scales up to do the same:
- Leading and developing the marketing team as well as working within the ECHO leadership team
- Curating the messaging, copywriting, images and film of the ECHO brand
- Developing communication strategies, over the medium and long term, to aid the growth of ECHO in the marketplace
- Conceiving and overseeing campaigns across traditional and print media as well as digital and social media
- Managing and improving our client prospecting and outreach system including analysing data and then developing effective marketing content
- Understanding the training and development needs of the team and building a system which ensures our marketing team is always at the forefront of trends, tech opportunities and is leading the way in marketing in our sector
Job Specifics
This is an executive level position and you will be working with the management and directors to develop and progress the business plan. A lot of time will be dedicated to the wellbeing project which will serve as a benefit to our clients as part of their membership with the company. A host of skills including operational, strategy, IT and people skills are required to be considered for this position. Most importantly, the pure ability to inspire and influence our audiences and to manage and maintain a brand identity that is best in its class.
About you:
- Prolific creator
- Team player who is a good communicator and is keen to work with a progressive team as well as having a drive to deliver quality content
- Clear understanding of digital marketing, the marketplace of the 21st century and the best use of data to build effective campaigns and to communicate with clients, colleagues and candidates
- Enthusiastic champion of video content, with a strong vision of how the medium can add an extra dimension to ECHO’s marketing strategy
- Strategic mind and the ability to create and implement long term strategies which adapt to changes in the marketplace and improve over time
- Proficiency across common softwares such as Google Workspace, spreadsheets and presentation platforms (Keynote / Powerpoint)
- Primary skills and experience: Engaging copywriting and design
- Secondary skills and experience: PPC, SEO and digital ad campaigns
- Tertiary skills and experience: Data management and client prospecting
- Experience in a similar role of three years or more
