The Role:
You’re the lynch pin that enables us to inspire chefs and operators to get amazing plant-based food on their menus. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Category, you’ll work closely with our Innovation Chef, Category Manager, digital team and creative agency/ designers driving exciting multi-channel communications, to inspire and help our customers.
As a team, we exist to drive a compelling proposition for our customers. Via our unrivalled and differentiated range, the activation of innovative new plant-based products, and supporting our customers in how to use them to deliver exceptional food in their businesses.
You will play a key role in bringing this all together and communicating it via our various channels, on-brand, on time, on budget!
Key responsibilities include:
- Photography: Project manage product and recipe photography (working with our Innovation Chef and food stylist and professional external photographer).
- Content creation: Working with internal and external stakeholders and designers to gather and interpret relevant information to craft compelling content around products and services.
- External Agency management: You’ll be the key point of contact with our creative agency/ designers, process managing all projects, championing our brand values and keeping our customers’ needs central at all times.
- Marketing Communications: You’ll take ownership of project managing extensive multi-channel comms from briefing stage through to final delivery. This includes print, promotions, customer collateral, and working with our digital team to activate across our digital platforms.
- Product activation: You’ll work closely with our Category Manager to activate New Product launches via effective customer and sales team marketing collateral and tools.
- Seed-bank: seed-bank.co.uk is our exclusive online recipe portal for chefs, making it easy to put vibrant, exciting plant-based food on menus. You’ll work closely with our Innovation Chef to develop the most on-trend, customer focused recipes and content for Seed-bank, which you’ll also weave throughout our multi-channel customer comms.
- Customer Impact Reports: We offer customers personalised Environmental impact reports, which show them the positive impact they are making by putting our plant-based ingredients on their menus in place of their meat equivalents. You’ll play a key role in promoting this service to our customers and driving engagement.
- Data & reporting: You’ll be responsible for reporting and tracking results against all key activity, and compiling customer direct mailing data.
The Candidate:
You’re a customer and brand focused marketer. You have exceptional project management skills and can multi-task like a pro! You thrive on meeting challenging deadlines; love a varied workload and the opportunity to take control.
You’re incredibly pro-active and can comfortably prioritise a heavy workload on the fly.
You have exceptional attention to detail, are a proofing ninja, brilliant communicator and are tenacious yet personable.
You’re comfortable working with data, have solid basic commercial acumen and can measure and track performance.
You’re results driven, and understand the need for continuous improvement.
You may have agency account management experience, and will be deft at working with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll have solid experience of similar roles ideally within a B2B environment. Experience of working within the Foodservice sector is advantageous but not essential.
You’ll relish the opportunity to really take ownership and make a difference. You’ll be happy to ‘roll your sleeves up’ in order to make this happen.
