Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbot
Salary: £30k to £35k depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
This role is to run all marketing for the business using both traditional and digital methods. The company are looking for someone who is experienced in marketing and sales that is energetic and creative in their thinking as well as their application. It is an all-encompassing/varying role and the right person will need to be capable of managing multiple projects
Main Responsibilities:
- To implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analysing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars; organising the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise.
- Tracks product line sales and costs by analysing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.
- Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing various sales data.
- Designing and maintaining promotional materials for existing product and new product releases.
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
- Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases where possible.
- Plans and attends meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
- Assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy.
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
Skills & Abilities:
- To have or be working towards or CIM or other recognized qualification.
- Confident and outgoing personality.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Detailed knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), WordPress, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Creative copywriting skills
- Creative/Graphic design skills
- Sales experience
