Job Title: Marketing Manager (reporting to Managing Partner)

The Role:
As Marketing Manager, you will develop and lead the company in sourcing, managing, and implementing new business opportunities. You will have a thorough understanding of the Facilities Management market and strategic marketing. You will help us to build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Working with the board of Directors to set the marketing strategy for the business
- Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic to our front door
- Researching and analysing market trends and competitors
- Deploying successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and report findings to the executive team
- Generating new business leads
- Increasing brand awareness and market share
- Experimenting with various organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting and performance analysis
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
- Managing the design and production of promotional materials, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
- Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, awards and conferences
- Evaluating and optimising marketing and pricing strategies
- Analysing market trends and preparing forecasts
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
- Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
- Provide ideas to attract new clients and keep senior management updated about the marketplace and competitor activity
- Contact companies to establish needs, determine decision makers and present how the company’s services can support the client’s needs
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure selling and marketing time and lead generation is maximised and activity and revenue targets/KPI’s are achieved
Skills, Competencies and Behaviours:
- Demonstrated track record of experience in a Marketing Management role, generating leads/business opportunities and winning work
- Educated to degree level or equivalent. BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Excellent leadership and motivational people management skills
- Professional acumen, with excellent senior level influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Energetic, resilient, passionate, self-starter
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen – understanding of contractual, financial, risks factors
- Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
