You will be based in our Glasgow facility.

This position would suit a focused and motivated individual who is seeking an opportunity to join an evolving organisation for a 12-month period.

The Role:

• Direct and indirect market research (data analysis, voice of the customers and collecting feedback from sales team).
• Develop launch plans and follow through New Product Introductions with customer marketing and sales team
• Analyse sales performance by customers and by-products to identify patterns and opportunities for new introductions, obsolesce, pricing corrections, etc.
• Providing general administrative support to the department Build and maintain relationships by telephone and email with customers and potential customers to allow product and service information to be communicated and strategic information to be gathered.
• Working on PR, digital, social media, advertisements, flyers and brochures for external marketing activities

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The Candidate:

• At least 3 Highers at Grade A, or 3 A levels at Grade B or above
• Honours Degree in Marketing 2.1 or above, or a related subject, or
• 1^st degree in a technical subject, e.g. Engineering with Higher Degree in Marketing or related subject

• Keen to learn general marketing and business skills
• Good attention to detail, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the business
• Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team
• Able to work well within a team environment and have an open and friendly nature
• Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of desktop publishing tools and Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Passion for engineering is a must!
