About the role:

To support the Senior Brand Managers, Brand Managers & the wider Marketing team in the strategic development and delivery of business and brand KPIs.

The Marketing Executive will function as an intermediary to our internal, external and third-party teams, helping to ensure that our messages are well communicated while being an ambassador and role model for the positive results achieved by the marketing department.

In order to be successful, the Marketing Executive will work as part of a highly collaborative and diverse team. They will be directly supported by the Brand and Senior Brand Managers, as well as the Head of Marketing, to ensure that they have everything they need to excel within Pets Choice.

In return, they will be expected to bring a broad knowledge of different marketing skills and disciplines to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the Marketing Team to deliver the Brand Communication and Innovation plans
  • Overall development and management of assigned brands
  • To support the Marketing Team to deliver yearly plans
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate the agreed plan/ projects to deliver the brands’ goals, objectives, and strategies targets
  • To provide regular insight and data performance to the marketing team, in conjunction with sales, category, finance, making recommendations and suggestions to maximise opportunities while leading the departments communication updates with support from the marketing team
  • To support in the delivery of consumer and shopper activity, including creation of assets, PR and lead the evolvement and execution of brand guidelines for online imagery across all brands in line with sales activity
  • To support the Head of Marketing, Senior Brand Managers and Brand managers with the delivery of events and support in brand days
  • To coordinate when necessary cross-functional relationships across departments such as commercial, marketing, technical, production & external agencies in supporting the delivery of key projects
  • Be responsible for specific marketing strategies for the assigned brands and channel plans of Spike’s, WildThings, Feathers & Beaky and Vitakraft
  • Assist in the creation of brand plans and product launches while becoming the marketing lead for brand communications to all key representatives internally and externally (Account Managers)
  • Support in the delivery and execution of the shopper marketing plans in retailers and channels (in-home, in-store, sampling, online)
  • Support in the delivery of brand activation plans across multi channels e.g., e-mail marketing, promotional and outreach campaigns. website strategy and updates; brand lifestyle, video, and digital assets
  • Collect, manage, and maintain regular measurement of campaign ROIs
  • Be seen as the marketing brands custodian for the One Stop Shop and become the first stop for all brand guidelines and assets to ensure best in class service is delivered when dealing with marketing requests on behalf of the marketing team from all internal, external and third-party stakeholders
  • Support the marketing team when required and in the delivery of Pets Choice living the values projects

About you:

  • Marketing degree or similar
  • Experience of working in a similar marketing or brand marketing role, ideally within a FMCG business
  • Positive, resilient, agile and creative
  • Strong analytical skills
