The role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join London’s best butcher in a highly diverse role that will see you wearing many hats. No two days are the same for the HG marketing team and we are constantly evolving to remain market leads of innovation.
We’re looking for a passionate team player who can help us grow across our three business pillars; our flagship shop in Barons Court, our e-commerce retail business, and our wholesale business where we supply some of the best restaurants, chefs, and hotels across the country. You will play a key role in developing and managing marketing campaigns to complement our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Website optimisation: Manage the website and its content ensuring it is up to date, fully functional and meets the needs of our customers.
- Campaign management: develop, implement, analyse, and report on digital marketing campaigns, including social media, PPC and search, and email campaigns.
- SEO: Optimize product pages on the website to improve HG Walter’s search engine results rankings, build backlinks and work with developers to ensure technical SEO is optimised.
- Social media: Manage HG Walter’s social accounts, building a community for our customers.
- Work with production, sales and buying teams to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
The Candidate:
- Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills
- An organised, adaptable self-starter who is happy to work autonomously, as well as in a close-knit team
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- A foodie with their finger on the pulse of the restaurant and food scene.
- Experience in a marketing role or similar.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of Shopify not essential but would be a bonus.
