Fixing Point is a UK-based supplier of specialist fasteners and components to the roofing and cladding industry. All Company products – are used in industrial and commercial construction projects, new-builds and refurbishments in towns and cities everywhere.
Established in 1986 the Fixing Point team have grown a diverse and loyal customer base that includes some of the largest roofing and cladding contractors in the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director the Marketing Coordinator will assist with the day to day requirements of the Marketing Department by liaising and providing support to the Marketing Agency. The role will be integral to the running of our business through good communication with clients, Customers, and staff
Main Responsibilities
- Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
- Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and attends trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares report
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising promotional presentations; and updating calendars
- Tracks product line sales and costs by analysing and entering sales, expense, and new business data
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with Marketing Agency, placing order
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information
- Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and creating and coordinating mailing lists
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications
- Accomplishes organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
The Ideal Candidate
To undertake this role, it would be desirable to be qualified (or Part-Qualified working towards completion of studies) Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field In addition to the following attributes:
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
