Job Title: Marketing & Brand Manager

Location: Walsall / Hybrid

Salary: £34,373 – £39,571 per annum

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

We’re looking for someone who can bring a wealth of campaign experience and commerciality from across any industry sector.

The Candidate:

We’re looking for an aspirational marketing or brand manager with experience of using a broad range of marketing techniques to create and evaluate campaigns.

This role requires a creative thinker who is comfortable with using insight to contribute to the wider marketing plans and to ensure they are delivered brilliantly.

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Marketing and Brand and will have proven leadership experience with an ability to inspire and develop our marketing approach.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing to shape the marketing plan, identifying opportunities to promote the Council and the borough
  • Development and delivery of transformational marketing campaigns in line with our Council Plan
  • Communicate the marketing plan to key stakeholders and colleagues both internally and externally demonstrating creativity and innovation
  • Develop income generation strategies through the promotion of events, products and services
  • Working with communications and social media managers to ensure campaigns are integrated to achieve maximum impact
  • The robust evaluation of all marketing activity and utilising learnings to shape future activity
  • Development of brand guidelines and ensuring the brand identity is used at all touchpoints
  • Support the wider Communications and Marketing team goals and help raise the profile of marketing within the organisation
