Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Preston, Lancashire (with some travel both in and outside the UK)
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Established for over 30 years, they have offices in the UK and Asia and supply to over 40 countries worldwide. Customers include interiors designers, independent retailers, furnishing specialists, overseas distributors, hotel groups and other commercial environments
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to join their team. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate in marketing or someone with 1-2 years marketing administration experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing briefing and execution of all new range photography
- Design and production of all new launch materials and POS
- Copy writing for editorials, email campaigns, sales material and advertisements
- Working with external PR Agencies to increase brand exposure
- Production of seasonal artwork and literature for retail and online displays
- Website content creation and management
- Managing all marketing admin
- Design & execute CRM-driven campaigns – such as promotional offers.
- Providing marketing support to the Group’s sales team as and when required
The Candidate:
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant Business Degree or Business Qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
- Highly organised, focused and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Driven to deliver consistently on time and to a high standard
- Successful problem solver, strong planning and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills at all levels – confident and polite
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously using own initiative
- Experience in copy writing
- Flexible with a willingness to travel
- Full UK driver’s license and own car is essential
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a Marketing role
- Working knowledge of social media platform; including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Experience using a CRM Tool
- Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative package – In Design, Illustrator & Photoshop
- Knowledge and interest in the soft furnishings market
